Great place for quick one night stay for fishing tournament. Convenient location to lake and not far to Greenville. Clean house with everything needed for comfortable stay.
The house is extremely cute. The beds are comfortable. The internet connection was fine the first night but then we lost it and it never came back. The road is a bit busy and noisy, but it was a great value and super clean! I would definitely recommend it unless you're on a business trip and need reliable internet. 😁 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The house was absolutely beautiful. It was very clean and tastefully decorated. The host goes out of her way to ensure that the house is stocked with little things you may forget on your trip. We only stayed for two nights and we wish we could’ve stayed longer.
This place works great for people traveling to Lake Tawakoni to fish. Close to the lake, house was nice and clean, easy to get truck and trailer in. I would stay here again if we came back down.
The only negative is that on a dark rainy road we drove just past it when realized which house it was. 3 adults 3 bedrooms. Plenty of space. 2 well appointed bathrooms. Nice kitchen and living room. Owner has gone the extra mile to provide extras in the kitchen (coffee/tea (plus the add-ins for), condiments in the fridge); and plenty of towels and shampoo/soap in the bathrooms. In talking with friends who have rented homes in other areas before, said kitchen items are not usually provided. I felt for what I paid, it was worth the price. Would recommend to anyone going to the area. Was close to Sulphur Springs (our destination), and close enough to Dallas/Fort Worth for our day trip to be a reasonable drive.
We had a wonderful stay at the “Green House”. I can’t say enough about the cleanliness, the delightful decor, but the “makeup” towels was such a lovely touch. We will definitely be back on our next Canton run.

Visit with family and friends, right in the middle off all.
This house was great. It was cozy and comfortable and had all amenities you could need. We stayed here for Easter with family and it was plenty of room. The town was small but had a great restaurant, Buffalo Grill. The food was awesome. The only negative if you will, is the house is located near a road that a lot of people take to access the main road. There was a lot of traffic noise and lights in the window when they would turn on the street. My husband and I slept in the back bedroom and could not hear anything but our kids were in the front bedroom and said it kept them up. Overall its a great house and we would stay there again!!
Location was great for our needs. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Great upgrades, very clean. Host was very quick to respond with questions. Internet slow but functional. Little noisy from street traffic, but not bothersome at night or inside.
This 3 BR was a great stop for our family in lieu of having to get 2 hotel rooms on a long road trip. We also had a goal to minimize contact during our travel and a hotel would have made that difficult. Our group (2 adults, 2 teens, 2 pre-teen) fit well in the house.
The communication with the owner was great - prior to our trip the listing indicated no wifi or internet in the house but it was being worked on, and also the photos did not show beds in one of the bedrooms. Both of these things were taken care of before we got there and we were very happy for it!
The town is very small, as indicated in the description, but we were able to get donuts for breakfast and could have ordered dinner from a local restaurant if we wanted. We did bring our own food - again, trying to minimize contact with the outside world on our trip. I did notice the signs for the local parks and lakes and I'm sure that would be a fun thing to check out if we were staying longer.
The bedrooms are very spacious as is the kitchen, master bath, and laundry room.
We actually stayed here two nights on the way to our final destination (Gulf Coast) and again on the way back. If we ever make the trip again we'll look and see if the Green House is available.
