Decent no-frills budget hotel in a very central location. I was in a room on the top floor which was fairly quiet. The room was small, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of cafes nearby for breakfast. Luggage storage free (but no tags, and anyone can access luggage room). Would return.
This property was not what we had expected at all. Very rundown hotel building. Small tiny rooms. The bathroom was a whole other story. You don’t feel comfortable in the space you’re staying there is barely any room in the rooms. No closet space or space for luggage’s. We asked for extra blankets and they were all stained. Some rooms are in the basement in tight corners being able to hear all footsteps on the stairs and neighbors around.
The hotel is in an excellent location and very reasonably priced And very warm. The rooms are small but excellent value for money.
In a great location close to the Railway stations and the piccadilly line For easy access into the centre of london.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The Wardonia appears to be multiple terraced houses combined, making the layout somewhat unusual (you have to pick the right staircase to access your room). The location is excellent as a layover from Kings Cross / St Pancras station (you can see the station from the hotel). I booked a single room, expected it to be small, and it was tiny, but adequate for my needs. A shelf in the bathroom would have been nice to place toiletries - everything had to live in the suitcase as there was only a tiny shelf next to the bed, and another with all the coffee making bits on. My only real complaint is the lack of heating; the radiator in the room (right next to the bed) didn't come on at all leaving a chill in the air.
Front desk staff at night, not so great. The room I had could only fit a single twin and Mr opened suitcase took up the rest of the room space- tiny, for what I paid. Better stay @ The Princess Hotel on the same street.
The staff was great, very helpful and always at the front desk. there was an everyday house keeping that cleaned the room. and overall we recived a clean room. great place near King's Cross station. recomending to visit.
Nice enough but feels unloved, dated and old. Location ok local pub The Dolphin potentially far right breeding ground felt both safer and more threatening when the police (5) arrived unannounced
Clean, three-minute walk to King's Cross Underground/St. Pancras, efficient use of bathroom space-all that one needs in a 1×3 meter space. Well-priced and worked well for one night. Note there is no in-room workspace in the room in which I was assigned. Also check windows, the room I was assigned had its window open upon arrival.
This is a no-thrills, slightly shabby (but perfectly serviceable, and better than most other hotels in the area, which typically have a bit of a poor reputation) hotel located a stone's throw away from King's Cross/St Pancras. I was only in London for one night so this was ideal, just somewhere to rest and freshen up. It's basic, but the price wasn't bad considering the location. Staff were friendly and I had no major problems.
The man at reception was polite. Stairs were a bit narrow going down. The room was
clean shower was ok but not if your over 6ft ( mind your head )room was small BUT was ok for us as we were only staying a night. Stripped the bed in the morning for housekeeping. (mattress oh dear). Think mattress cover is needed. Value for money, well we did leave it a bit late to book about 3 days before hand so not sure if the price would have been much cheaer a month earlier.
