Poor value for money. The room was small with a sloping roof (too small for a wardrobe or chest of drawers) and felt claustrophobic. No bedside lights and a broken curtain. And the staff on arrival made us feel very unwelcome. Overall, very disappointing, especially given the price.
What a fabulous place to stay. The staff are wonderful and the restaurant is amazing. Fantastic service, quality tasty food-you can’t ask for more. We will definitely come again.
Lovely little pub stay, modern rooms, small but typical for London. Only one issue, for mid week business travel starting breakfast at 8 is just too late.
Mixed feelings about the property. The room was nice and comfortable and the building was clean and nice. It just doesn’t hit the mark with regards to what you’d expect for a hotel and this price range. The tv remote wasn’t working, there are no waters in the room, the service is a bit curt and awkward. Also the area isn’t great. It shouldn’t be listed as Marylebone because it is Edgware Road - which isn’t half as nice. All in all, an ok place.
Mattress was too hard , room small and felt disappointed compared to pictures online , inconvenient if wanted to eat as closed and ordered many deliveries.
Staff were friendly and helpful though
Stayed here for one night teenager daughter when we went to a concert at Hyde Park which is a half an hour walk from the pub/hotel. Comfortable clean food and the food was good. Would stay here again.
A truly stingy hotel staffed by rude and stingy people. Rooms are meanly small. Guests of even medium height will not be able to sit on the toilet with their legs in front of them, but will have to pee side-saddle.
Really conveniently located, as we were going to an event in Hyde Park. Friendly welcome through the Indian restaurant on the ground floor and up in the lift to the beautifully appointed room, with super-comfy bed, tiny but great bathroom and wonderful air-con. We dined in the restaurant, which was one of the best curries I’d ever had. High praise. Highly recommend on all fronts.
Reasonable stay. Earlier than normal check in was good. Room was compact but of a good standard. There were stains on the curtains and what looked like cigarette burns on the carpets. Breakfast could have been earlier or the option to have a grab bag would have been nice. I had to leave before 8 so I missed the breakfast I paid for. The immediate area - dependent on how you reached the hotel - is a bit iffy.
