The Garth Hotel is located in a lovely part of Central London, handy for theatres and shops.

Did not stay the night. Found a bed bug in the bed and went to another hotel. The staff was horrified when I showed it to her but I now realise it can not been a big shock for her since I now have found plenty of reviews with similar experiences. I am waiting for a reply from the hotel about my refund.

It was not clean, the walls are very thin so you can hear the neighbors very clearly. The cleaning lady came once (we stayed a whole week), she didn't even clean the room.

Very good location and good service. The. Ed are comfortable but the bathroom very small. The heating were ON all the night and the room were very hot unnecessary

It’s not often we do London so we wanted to do it on a budget. Whilst the hotel is a bit tired it was warm and comfortable. The staff were brilliant and it’s ideally placed to get into the West End on foot very easily. We were able to drop off our bags before check in as we had theatre tickets booked for afternoon performance. You get what you pay for. It was fine for one night. Great rates. Thanks for a good stay.

As they say, "you get what you pay for". The property is very dated, the reception lady was very nice. As the property faces a main road it is very noisy all the time. The biggest issue i have was that i got biten extensively all over my feet and legs while sleeping....over a dozen bites. That is the reason for the poor rating.

Overall was ok
A central London budget hotel, you get what you pay for, so not 3 or 4 star. No bed bugs as far as I'm aware and ok for a one night sleep over. Only grumble was a very weak shower Overall was ok.
