The hotel is attractive and well-maintained. The staff is excellent: helpful, friendly, and very professional. High marks to the house-keeping staff, the front desk, and the breakfast servers. I deliberately chose the hotel so that I could walk back and forth to the British Museum. Other significant museums were easily available by public transportation, Uber, or cab. Some shopping is available on Tottingham Road, near-by. More extensive shopping and vibrant nightlife are found in other parts of town.
I thought the room was suitable, the location was excellent, a delicious breakfast was included, but be aware that there are no elevators. The stairs might be a problem for some--carrying luggage was challenging, and we had to ask for help from the staff.
Nice boutique hotel - room at the front into the street but wasn’t disturbed by any noise at night.
Staff were excellent - v welcoming.
Room was a great size and well appointed.
Didn’t me as I need the exercise but a lot of stairs. Bellman carried the luggage up and down so no issue.
Friendly and helpful staff. We checked in very late at night and got a very small room with difficult access in the lower floor. We asked for a change of room and the next we were moved to much nicer and larger room. The staff was very helpful to accommodate our request
Lovely, slightly quirky boutique hotel with helpful staff. Recently refurbished, well-appointed rooms. Good continental breakfast. Very well situated in a good area that feels very safe at night, with access to several different underground lines.
Lovely boutique, independent hotel walkable to the University of London, parks and "Store Street" of Bloomsbury around the corner--local cafes, wine bars and restaurants. The staff at this hotel was courteous and helpful. The library and back garden were extra bonuses. Highly recommend this hotel for a stay in London.
Felix & Davida were exceptionally friendly and professional. My overall stay were fantastic, luxurious & comfortable. I loved the hotel, people and location. Thank you
Unfortunately the room was very noisy, and noisy residents. The air conditioner and fire alarm had very bright lights making it difficult to sleep. And a musty smell in bathroom.
Hotel is definitely not a 5 star hotel. Lobby, sitting area and garden are pretty, but hotel has absolutely ZERO vibes. Bar and garden area never had an attendant during our stay. Complimentary breakfast was missable. Minibar you’re told is free, but also was never replenished. No lift. Towel warmer didn’t function. Room was comfortable and clean. Would have been okay if it were 200per night. Best part of the hotel is the adorable street next to it called Store Street. And breakfast at Honey & Co daily.
Great boutique hotel in a quiet hamlet of London, walkable to all major Ashens, including the British museum, which was right around the corner. Would definitely stay there again.
Have stayed a few times and this place never disappoints. Fabulous hotel in a great location.
I had a single room which was enough room for one -
Good size shower room.
Bed so comfy, fab pillows.
Great find in London. Really nice old style hotel with modern update. Nice rooms, exceptional staff - so helpful. Breakfast was fresh and very tasty. Great location near to Euston.
