The staff were great. There was problems with the housekeeping... My room was never cleaned...I had to ask the cleaner to change my sheets and towels. Then i cleaned the flat myself.

Dysfunctional and Filthy.
this hotel looks nothing like the pics, for starters no lamps on the bedrooms, no microvave nor spoons in the kitchen. the bed was wet, smeelled like mold and pillows were the worse. the tables on the kitchen were filthy and legs were bend. Sink was clogged and shower a bit disfunctional. I know you should not expect a lot for the price but you should expect functionality and cleanliness. def not there.

Deceptively delightful
On arrival at the apartment's reception area, we was expecting the apartment to be fairly small. However, we was pleasantly surprised with a not only spacious but we'll decorated apartment. The staff at the recaption desk were helpful and friendly which was also reassuring. The only downside to the apartment was that the double beds was made up of two single beds which lacked comfort to sleep on. In addition to this there is a strict policy about not allowing extra guests to come into the apartment after 12am which lacked convenience for us as a group of friends out for a birthday night out.

Terrible staff
The staff were very judgemental of me. Every time I walked in reception asked what room I was staying in and that I'm not allowed guests. The apartment is nothing like the pics. The whole apartment had no where to sit apart from the bed and this is when I booked a "deluxe" apartment. Terrible wouldn't ever come back again

The apartments are ok
The apartment I got was clean and it looked nice. However, it does need upgrading. The couch in my room was completely torn apart and very uncomfortable to sit on. The mattress on my bed, also needs an upgrade. I would always sink whenever I got into it, and I am very thin! :p some furniture is broken and one of the side lights in my room did not work. The room overall did look nice and the bathroom was clean. The place is located less than 5 mins to the tube, however the lines there aren't the best. You would need about 25mins before you got to the centre. Staff was lovely and always willing to hotel. If they upgraded their furniture, I would be willing to stay here again.

Smelly Room
My first impressions were that we may have stumbled into a crack den! The entrance hall smelt like someone had a s**t in corner, luckily we were only there one night as it was convenient for work.

Adequate lodgings
Not quite as luxurious as the photos suggest, but everything was clean and the hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. I stayed in an apartment, which had a kitchen without cutlery, cooking pans, microwave or kettle. But when I asked for a kettle, I got one immediately, and maybe could have asked for the other stuff if I'd wanted it. The hotel is a bit hard to notice at first because it's on a side street, but if you Google map search you can have a look at it and you won't have trouble finding it. And the price, considering London hotel rates, was reasonable.

Over priced one bed ordinary flat.
Not the best one bed flat in Kilburn. I would rather stay in proper hotel than such a block of flats. No doubt you have Tesco and Starbucks next to it but it won't make my future choice.

Out of the centre but convenient and cheap
Maybe not the most desirable area for a London stay but the price was SO reasonable. I had, for a tiny price, what was effectively a London flat! Bed-sitting room, kitchen, bathroom, separate bedroom. The TESCO below the property would allow you to cater cheaply for yourself. NO breakfast offered in the hotel. I felt perfectly safe. Tube stations are SO close, allowing access to central London or wherever you wish.

Not good hotel
Bed was broken. In the hotel they told me that they have another room but more expensive and I have to pay additional if I want this room. When I told that they are joking and I will not pay anything additionall, they went to room to check if bed is really damaged, tried to convince that bed is ok and finally they told that they do not have another free room. They put stone block under bed to fix the bed. Also phone cable was cut so for everything I had to go downstairs to reception (evety time). In bathroom washbasin was blocked and there was used chewing gum on the flow (propably after cleaning person) which I stepped on.

Think carefully about this choice.
We have stayed here three times now. Two years ago, the service was better, and the overall standard better. We waited for four hours for our room to be ready, and then were given what seemed to us to be an emergency room, with no sofa, no jug, fridge turned off. Too exhausted to do anything else, but the evening manager told us he would have a better room for us the next day. When we got back after a day out the next day, nothing had been done, we were greeted with Oh, were you unhappy with the room? We explained what had happened, and were given the key to go and check the new room before we moved to it. It was fine, an upgrade on what we had paid for, but we were made feel that it all happened because we had complained about the first room, as opposed to it being offered to us. Good transport facilities or not, we won't be returning to So Quartier. The standard has definitely dropped in two years, and it seems to be running on a patch it up basis.

Live bed bug found
Found 1 live bed bug , mentioned it to the front desk who said thank you but nothing being done. We had to go to front dent desk to ask for toilet paper, who asked for 10 pounds if room to be cleaned before 3 days. Noisy , no AC, hard to sleep in summer. Hotel should not earned 3 star rating. 2 star is more appropriated.

Room not ready/not available for our stay
We arrived to check in at 5pm and were informed there was a maintenance problem with our room and it would not be available for our 2 night stay. This problem had occurred earlier in the day and NO ONE called to inform us, so when we showed up to check in the 2 tired children, we had no accommodations. NO offers were made to remedy the situation. After 10 minutes of discussions, requests for a manager (who never came), we were offered a room in another So Q property quite far away from where we made our reservations. The So Q we stayed at was nice, staff was nice, but the original was ridiculous.

GOOD LOCATION BUT NOISY ON MAIN ROAD
Location was very good for me. But the noise from the main road at the pb below the hotel was a killer. The hotel has no airconditioning but heater is available. So if you reallly feel hot then you need to get the fan from the reception. But the problem is when you open the windows for ventiliation the noise comes in as well. So if you want some calmness do not get the room on the main road.

Great location, great service
Good location with easy access to the centre of London without the London centre prices. Apartment needed some maintenance, but it was clean and larger than we expected. Staff were very helpful when we needed help with taxis or needed a different dish to cook with. Sitting right on top of a Tesco made self catering easier.

Accessible, spacious, safe and central.
We booked a one bedroom luxury but on arrival was not available. We were given A two bedroom apartment which was actually better as there were three of us... They did offer to upgrade us again the next day but we were very happy with what we had. The apartment was very spacious, clean, a good size bathroom. The staff were very courteous and very willing to ensure we had everything we needed. My daughter who lives on the other part of London stayed with us after the concert and it was really nice that we had the room to accommodate her too. The only very minor observation (and it is not a criticism) is the there were stains on the radiator and one of the canvases was slashed which didn't look nice in the living room. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartments and book again with them. The price is very fair for what we had.

Comfortable stay in large self-catered apartment
Self-catering style apartment - and it was HUGE. To be fair I was upgraded, but the size put many London flats to shame, which made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay.
