The hotel was really close to the venue I was attending and close to Euston Station. The breakfast was good and staff attentive.
My room was on the top floor which was a really good workout with a suitcase and there was no lift. The sound proofing between rooms was quite poor but as it's an historic building there's probably not much they can do about it. Also bring your glasses if you want to watch the tv, it's tiny.

Excellent location and spacious, clean rooms. Could do with modernisation but we had a comfortable stay.
The rooms were clean and provided comfortable beds for our one night stay. Staff were very friendly and happy to help. Breakfast was included - a cheap and cheerful cooked breakfast, cereals, yogurts and fresh fruit to choose from.
Great location near the British Museum.
Only criticism is that I couldn't get the central heating to work.
Quite a lot of narrow stairs to third floor. It didn't bother me as I am fit but would be awkward perhaps for those less able IF their room was at the top.
All in all I enjoyed my one night stay!
This place is great for those looking for an excellent location and a more old-style classic English experience rather than the traditional basic hotel. So many things to do within walking distance or the tube stop close by. The staff was very friendly and helpful, an excellent breakfast, and overall loved the stay. Just be mindful this is an old renovated building with some wear and tear that is expected from time. No elevator so make sure you are in good shape for the flights of stairs with your luggage.
Hotel was shabby - it didn’t look like the pictures, poor water pressure in our room - the toilet barely flushed, sink had a sign saying not for drinking, and NO WI-FI in our room up a couple flights of stairs. The network would flicker on and off, but completely unusable. There was a bit of air conditioning, but all the windows in the hall were open including a fire door that said it was to be kept closed. Terrible experience and we switched after one night despite paying for two nights.

The whole hotel it was being decorated period it was covered in plastic sheeting decorating equipment on the floors period there was no elevator for us to carry 4 of our very heavy suitcases up 58 flights of stairs period when we did arrive at the top. We were covered in decoration dust period the plastic sheeting on the floor was very dangerous for us. Coming down the stairs and we could have seriously hurt ourselves. Had we not been extremely careful. This hotel should not have rented the rooms in such a state of disrepair period we will not be returning period to be fair, though the stuff were friendly perio
This is an excellent property in a very convenient to shop, walk. Sight see, transportation and dining and cafes.
The only challenge was that there are no elevators but staff was very very helpful in carrying luggage up and down. I highly recommend it.

Faruck, the manager, was so patient and kind and thoughtful. He ordered my railway ticket to Bath when I had trouble doing that on my phone. He carried my bags to the second floor when he noticed I use a cane. I would also like to commend the housekeeper who is from Ukraine. She showed me how to turn the shower off.
