The location was decent and we’d probably have been ok with the flat, but the wifi never worked, and the unit was billed as an AC’d flat. There was an AC machine on premises, but it looked like it was from 1066 AD, and its exhaust vent was completely disintegrated, meaning it created massive heat into the room and zero cooling. We couldn’t even use it as a fan because of the heat. There was no attempt to help with this or the wifi, which we were never able to connect to, and likely isn’t being paid for.
Not a big deal for me, but my wife wasn’t thrilled that the hairdryer was broken.
The last thing to mention was that we were approached twice by different porters for the building who told us the units aren’t meant to be sublet via Vrbo’s or other third parties in the first place per building policy.
Thankfully he didn’t throw us out, but it made for an uneasy feeling.
Nonetheless, our time in London was exhaustingly wonderful!
