A lovely complimentary breakfast is served daily at this great little hotel very near to Paddington Station. The staff is helpful, pleasant, and friendly. The entire facility is spotless. Just expect an older hotel without phones in the rooms, and with small showers. Lots of hot water, though, and a huge choice of dining and transport options right around the corner. Excellent value for the money, and an excellent location, offset any negatives due to the hotel’s age.
Gresham Hotel exceeded my expectations!
An excellent 3 Star hotel which met my needs. A clean and comfortable room for the night and breakfast was plentiful.
The breakfast staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.
The location is convenient to say the least.
What more could I add?!
Excellent only small downside was trouble with internet
Rooms and bathroom are. small but totally acceptable for way we travel
Delightful breakfast staff

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
If you are on a budget this hotel is most definitely worth a trip. I like the location on the 27 bus route. I have mobility issues which were recognised and the lovely lady on reception (Annisa) couldn't do enough to allocate me the right room. I had the room in the basement (no window) smashing little shower room & toilet and perhaps needed a bit of love spent on it but for the price I paid I was safe and it was quiet. Perfect for my requirements. For a one or 2 night stay it was an ideal place to stay for a solo traveller. I will happily stay there again. I have no need to be spoilt or pampered but I do want to feel safe and comfortable. During my visit this was achieved.
We were first told that check in was at 14:00 after arriving around 10:00. When we came back we were sent to a very dungeon like room in the sub-basement, amenities were very poor, the mattress springs were going through your back, very tiny window going through a small courtyard. We asked to change but they told us no as the room are allocated on first come first serve bases. They allow to change on the next day if one available. The next morning around 6:00 am we were hearing the staff talking then the avalanche of noice as poeple came for breakfast. The room was a tiny room facing the courtyard, with heavy wooden chairs and no soft furniture, the tiny sound weee bouncing all around the courtyard. We were allowed to change but not before we check out for 11:00 and not coming back before 14:00. Not having slept much it was surprise that we were pretty much put to the street for 3 hours. The room was slightly bigger but still getting noises. The receptionist did their best but the accountability is on the owner who run the place to maximise profits. Not much would be needed to attenuate the noise in the restaurant and turn the sub basement room as single to noise proof them
Shoebox room. Very dated. Fortunately had a lift. Poky bathroom. Ok one night stay for couple. One person would feel ok. Missed breakfast included,so can't comment.
The room was clean - bed was comfortable. Great location for Paddington. Restaurants and bars nearby. Receptionist was friendly and it included breakfast.
Recommended.
Nice hotel in a good location very close to Paddington Station and near lots of restaurants and bars.
Staff were all helpful and friendly.
And the complimentary breakfast was good.
Staff all very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Room was a bit of a squeeze, butI had mistakenly booked a double rather than a twin. We were switched to the one twin they had available which was quite small, but the beds were really comfortable.
24-hr front desk is definitely a plus. Rooms organization is a bit confusing due to halls split by elevator. Overall, the room is small but in good condition. There is no AC in the room. The bedding can use an upgrade. Too easily sinked down (not ideal for 2 people sharing the bed). The area is nice. Convenient for biking if you can take advantage of e-bike (London is most bike-friendly cities I have been to). Close to 24-hour convenient store. Not very walkable to attractions (45min walk to Buckingham Palace). During the day, the big park is open so you can shortcut across Hyde park. However, after hours, the park is closed and walking around can add quite a bit of time to your trip so plan accordingly. Breakfast is so so, very little option but service ladies are super nice.
