Eclectic Embrace, by Veeve

Enjoy an enriching stay moments from Regent’s Park and Camden at this captivating three-bedroom home, which enchants with an adventurous design aesthetic that blends eclectic, contemporary and traditional mores. Sleeping up to six guests and boasting an enchanting garden, it’s a serene base to explore some of this capital’s most notable attractions including London Zoo, Primrose Hill and Camden Market...

Period splendour abounds in the double reception room, where a well-stocked home library and period fireplace enshrines an atmosphere of refined grace in the TV room. Adjoining the space, the larger living area is enlivened by striking wall art, a bohemian rug and calming views across the quintessential Victorian street beyond. Incorporating contemporary and traditional tastes with its modern dining table, chairs and period fireplace, the dining room is enveloped with natural light from a sash window that looks out to the garden. Accents of royal blue and dark wood bring a distinguished air to the spacious kitchen, equipped with all key amenities including a Miele fridge/freezer and a stainless-steel cooker.

Abstract art and floral curtains bring an uplifting mood to the harmonious master suite, offering a plush super king-sized bed. A period fireplace, mantlepiece and mahogany mirror bring a touch of grandeur to the en-suite bathroom which plays host to a lavish bath by the window. Pastel blues enshrine a peaceful atmosphere in the second bedroom, where your dreams may take a walk on the wild side courtesy of a giant snow leopard toy that keeps watch over the room. Cineastes will appreciate the Hitchcock poster that steals the scene in the third bedroom, decorated in gentle pistachio hues, and offering a double bed and desk. Soulful shades of yellow bring the sunshine to the family bathroom, located on the top floor. One final flourish awaits outside. Rich with plant life, the lush garden is an idyllic spot to enjoy the late evening sun over a barbecue as you consider your next steps in this picturesque pocket of London.

We Love
The liberal fusion of colour, texture and tone that brings a unique design flavour to each room.

Home Truths:
No smoking, pets or parties. Please note, the basement will not be accessible during your stay, while the study on the first floor will also be locked. The fireplaces are not in use. The washing machine and dryer can be found in the communal lobby for the basement flat, shared with the basement and accessed by going down the stairs at the front of the house and in through the separate basement front door. A double sofa bed can be found in the living room. Please be aware, all bathrooms have baths with shower attachments only. All bathrooms have been recently redecorated. The garden can be accessed via the spiral staircase outside the ground floor study. Please be aware the basement flat also has use of the patio section of the garden. Terrific house in Camden
The location is great-- Quiet street, yet close to bus lines and also two stops on the Northern Line. Shops, stores, restaurants, and pubs are all very close at hand. The house is on four levels, and thus has lots of stairs. It is furnished well, and the kitchen has all that is needed to cook meals. I would recommend staying here.

It's Camden, not Regents Park
The house was spacious, the sheets were clean. They did have a cleaning crew. All the dishes we used were dirty. We spent the first night cleaning grease off the forks and knives. The running water on the top floor bathroom occasionally worked.

Comfortable Stay in Camden
My husband and I were traveling with our adult children and the townhouse allowed us to share great downtime with our children in a comfortable setting. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the sitting room together at the start and end of the day. There were stores and restaurants within a 5 minute walk as well as two different tube stops. The beds were very comfortable. This being an old English townhouse, the bathrooms had no standing showers, but had deep tubs with shower wands, and the bedrooms were several flights up steep stairs, which could be tough for less abled folks or small children.
