Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
When I checked in I was told the reception would be open 24 hours but when I wanted to check out the next day, the reception was closed and the worst thing was the phone number written on the sign they put on the door was not in service so I had no way to reach out to the staff. I had to search the correct phone number on Google myself. But even if I dialled the correct number nobody answered. I rang the door bell nobody answered either. I was in a hurry to leave but in the end I waited for 15 minutes being worried before someone finally came.
Another thing was, I know it was a cheap hostel but why did we have to take out the all the covers like the bed cover, pillow cover and duvet cover by ourselves? It wasn’t a very difficult job however when I checked out it was in the early morning and the shared room was still dark. I had to climb up to the top of the bunk bed to do it in darkness, which was dangerous to myself and disturbing to the people who were still sleeping in the room. Why can’t the staff do their own job instead when everyone checks out in the afternoon?
