Probably the worst experience ever, 4 adults, one disabled.
No check in details forwarded. Phoned VRBO multiple times several days before. Told to wait till 3pm checking in time then contact VRBO again. Left messages with the rental concierge who eventually got "an owner" to phone me. He said we hadn't got a booking and he doesn't advertise on VRBO. I relayed this to VRBO.... Who tried to check this out but the contact number could not be reached by the agent.
Finally VRBO agent gave us a hotel to stay in for the night..... Which was not the experience we were after. Obviously an expensive hotel with no breakfast we could afford, and obviously under occupancy. Spent a fortune on food even though I had food rotting in the car. We travelled across London to get there leaving the car parked elsewhere.....The second night we were told to book our own hotel.....so after yet another taxi ride we found affordable accommodation which I'm told probably won't be reimbursed. I also have to wait up to 14 days to get a refund on the original booking.
