Beautiful flat in London
This flat, in Central London, was beautiful and in a very good location. The only drawbacks to this apartment were that the maintenance was lacking (items such as non-working heated towel racks in some bathrooms, heated flooring (also in some bathrooms), non-working main bedroom closet lighting, burnt out light bulbs, missing wastebasket in one bathroom, air conditioning not working properly in main bedroom, etc.), all of which distracted from the beauty of this flat. Also, there were no bath mats (which caused the water to go under the floor near the shower in the main bathroom, as there was no caulking between the tiles) or directions on how to use the amenities in the flat (such as thermostats, heated towel bars, heated floors), or how to dispose of trash, etc. We were finally able to figure out how to use these amenities on our own (in the rooms in which they did work). There should be a manual in the flat that provides a renter with this type of information. When we arrived at the flat, the floors had not been vacuumed and there was no hairdryer. Emma quickly handled this issue and it was resolved within 30 minutes. This flat is in a great location during the week, however, on the weekends, most restaurants and businesses are closed. Prior to our arrival, I tried for several weeks to communicate with Emma through messaging on VRBO, but with no response. I was finally able to reach her through an internet phone provider to get my questions answered, but only after I found her number on different home rental site. Hopefully, these maintenance issue can be addressed and a manual can be created for the flat. Overall, I would recommend this flat to someone wanting to be in the heart of London.
