The property has been fairly recently developed so the furnishings are modern and everything is new, neat and clean. My room was in the basement, which I didn't love, as the view out of the window was of a yard and staircase that really needed painting, but at least there was a window, which basement rooms don't always have. Considering you are so close to Kings Cross, the area is very quiet and as a solo female traveller, I felt quite safe.
London hotel rooms are ridiculously priced at the moment and this was at the more reasonable end of the scale. The room itself was tiny but that didn't matter as it had everything I needed (ensuite, kettle, tea/coffee, biscuits!, toiletries), somewhere to hang clothes, somewhere to sit.
Breakfast was available for £7.99 but I didn't have it so can't comment on that.
I stayed two nights and the towels were changed for the second day, which I didn't feel was necessary, so the hotel could save themselves some time and money there, as well as helping the environment.
I recommend the hotel and would stay again.
