"This was our first time traveling in Indonesia and the staff at Batatu Resort were incredibly helpful in answering all our questions and setting us up with transportation, recommendations, and helping us navigate the area. They went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed with personal chats as we came and went - always filled with humor and warmth!! Delicious menu available for prompt and courteous room service, beautiful mature gardens on the ground, definitely more quiet than staying in Kuta proper, but good to realize resort is in a neighborhood though the grounds are secluded and private feeling! Highly recommend the private pool villa! We will stay here again 🌺🙏"

"I truly felt like I was part of the family welcome by everybody spoken to by everybody everyone had great big smiles were very welcoming and accommodating nothing was ever too much trouble I think I must have laughed every day with everybody I had cookery lesson and the chefs who are talented should be step-by-step each process for every particular dish. It was so good at this place that when I returned to the island after a brief stay back in Jakarta, I went back and stayed longer. The sun sets from the restaurant and beach were incredible."

"We got to stay in the Oceanview Family Bungalow and had a great time. The bungalow is MASSIVE - so much room, and as good as the resort pool was, having the small private pool was an extra luxury (although the decking around it was in disrepair and needs some work) and much used also. The grounds are beautiful and it was amazing walking along the grass next to the coral beach to the restaurant and bar each day. Restaurant was good, but there was also some amazing restaurants very close by that we got to experience also. Bar staff were heaps of fun and made great (and cheap at happy hour!) cocktails, even venturing into suggestions that weren't on the menu. As with a lot of accom in Bali/Lombok, some of the finer maintenance and cleaning was a bit off, however, having been to Bali once before we kind of expect that in every place, and it did not bother us at all. We arrived late in the day after a rather large travel day and were unfortunately woken very early to an 'event' setup in the park right next to our room with full stage and PA (sounded like they were in our room) with the only notice given a note slipped under our door after we had gone to sleep. However, staff and manager were very apologetic and organised a complimentary transfer out for the end of our stay, and some complimentary treatments for the whole family at their onsite Spa which put us straight back into relax mode. Great spot to stay within the walls and chillout, but also fairly easy to go out exploring."

"Fabulous service from Manager/ Chef Mr Hambi & Sales Manager Ms Karen who rendered kind consideration & genuine helpfulness regarding my Expedia's stay cancellation due to Indonesia immigration limit of 30 days👍👍👍👍👍✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ Chef instructed staff to prepare my favourite masala tea. Whereas Karen sought management's approval for accommodation refund & extended complimentary spa treatment. SOOOO... IMPRESSIVE!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Additionally, ALL service staff are so friendly & engaging 👏👏👏👏👏 Furthermore the ocean suite is very spacious & balcony overlooking the expansive shoreline & enchanting waves. Great resort, coupled with exemplary staff, makes a memorable holiday. Cheers! 🍻"
