We were thoroughly satisfied with the 3 nights at La Vieja Botica: - different daily quality breakfast, locally sourced (not forgetting Tracey's signature marmalede), fresh and tasty; by the olive's wood fireplace - modern and fully furnished room, extremely comfortable bed with an ever important door that opens out (able to continuously air the room is a huge plus) - spot on location for the el saltillo hike - just few steps away from the starting point"

"One of most enjoyable (if short!) stays in a long while. La Madrugada is in an enviable position, with wonderful views down towards the sea/coast, and the magnificent surrounding mountains. Marco is a very welcoming host who wants you to enjoy your stay. The breakfasts we had on the patio were an absolute highlight. I hope very much to stay here again and I will highly recommend it. "

"We had an amazing stay for 10days .. was nice to be close to Malaga yet out enough to have peace and quiet. The children loved the pool and having no neighbours meant we did not have to worry about their noise. We saw wildlife and would watch the gecko’s at night. Owners are amazing and friendly.. definitely recommended the house for anyone who wants to be off the grid!!!"

"Had a fantastic family getaway in Villa Camaleon 27th Dec 2024-1st Jan 2025. The villa is up on a hill overlooking the coast, well situated with pretty Italian Cypress trees along the driveway. Completely private, feels remote but has a nice little neighbourhood on the hillside which feels safe. Pack a torch for evening walks. The road up is a single track with pull in areas, we enjoyed the track up and down for the views, if you're an experienced driver no issue, if less so, just take it...

"The house looked even better in person than it did in the photos. The house had everything that we needed including spectacular views. The roads in the area are narrow and unmarked, but signs for Casa Nobleza were posted and we figured it out pretty quickly. Would definitely stay here again. The town of Competa is very cute and the Dia supermarket had everything we needed."
