My daughter and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. The location is awesome-minutes to the main hikes in one direction, and minutes to town in the other direction. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed, firewood was available for delivery, and the owner was readily accessible. The campground resort offered lots of activities and there was a small shop for basic needs. It was well lit, so even though it was a mother/daughter trip, we felt safe at night. There was a bounce pillow, basketball, mini golf, a community fire pit with swings, etc. it really was 5 stars across the board except for one issue, and unfortunately for us it was a big one. The smell around our cabin was foul. I don’t know what it was, but it was similar to a strong propane smell. (It wasn’t propane, just similar.) It was very localized, but came and went. It got so smelly inside our cabin we were thankful it was time to check out. (Check out was a breeze, by the way). I didn’t mention this to the staff because we were out hiking all day every day, but I am certain that if we had, they’d have been quick to handle it. Overall I’d recommend staying here.
