"We found the property was in an amazing position a short walk from a delightful beach BUT it was in need of renovation and very run down. The cooker was not working properly and was badly in need of a thorough clean..or preferably replacement, and the cutlery was inadequate. All the frying pans were nonstick and scratched so that we could bit use them. The showers were in e sorry state with dirty grouting and very dirty shower curtains. We saw a rat running across the kitchen floor. All in all...

"The gite is in a great location, a short walk from Doelan, which is a picturesque small port on a small river estuary. The host, Jacques, was very welcoming and friendly. We had some lovely conversations with him. He is a real gentleman. He showed us where the local hidden beaches were located, and advised on coastal walking nearby. Would very much recommend this property. It is great value for money."

"Gîte au calme proche de Carnac avec des espaces extérieurs très agréables. La cuisine, salle de vie et salle de bain ont été refaites avec goût. Les chambres sont un peu plus vétustes à l'étage et sont en enfilade (il faut traverser une chambre pour aller dans la suivante). Gîte plus adapté pour 7 que 9 personnes car 2 matelas sont trop fins et bon à changer. Un des canapés est également à changer suite à la découverte d'une souris morte qui s'y était installée. "What a lovely stay we had at this perfect property! We came to Carnac to visit the Alignments and what better place to settle than right among these giants that dat back 3500 years. Boniface was just lovely...wonderfully helpful and very communicative. The house had everything we needed: a well equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms, a cozy living and dining area, comfy beds. Everything was spotless. It was just wonderful. A quick drive into town and you can walk the beautiful coastal trail off...

Ideal for summer stay but stone floors and only one sofa for 4 people so wouldn't be so comfortable if the weather was poor. Could have used some instructions as to how to find it."

"Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour dans la "Cider House". Tout est facile, de la remise des clés au départ organisé par Enora avec beaucoup de sympathie et de disponibilité. Le gîte est conforme aux photos, agréable, très bien rénové et le jardin est vraiment exceptionnel. C'est un endroit stratégique pour visiter ce joli coin de Bretagne. Nous recommandons à 100 % :o)"
