"House was peefect for our Bayou experience. House has everything you need, just bring the groceries and detergents for laundry. Beds are comfy and the house is roomy with large bedrooms. We caught tons of fish and 5 crabs(just wanted to try it). Host was awesome, he checked in with us to make sure everything was great and even gave us local shrimp which were the best we have EVER had.. "

"Great stay in Thibodaux for Christmas to visit family. The home is older and rustic, with lots of character and many original features. We looked it up and found it to be built in 1908. It was VERY clean, nicely decorated and filled with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen has everything you need. Plenty of extra towels and bedding. "The pictures of the place look cute. When we got there we were horrified! My family and I arrived to the property, and discovered the 3rd "bedroom" was a refinished garage without heat! It was 40 degrees that night. We also found mouse dropping in a different bedroom. We travel with pets so we had no other choice but to stay the night. We didn't arrive until after 9pm.
