"Location, location. If you don't mind winding down a farm road for almost a mile through woodland and field, opening and closing livestock gates along the way this is the place for you! The house is warm and cozy and superbly outfitted. The beds are very comfortable. The lawn and gardens are bountiful, with canal paths and woodland walks right outside your door. We had the river view, and the apartment was very spacious, in an absolutely ideal location in the center of the city along the river, and surrounded by shopping, pubs, and anything else you would need. It is literally steps away from both the castle and the church, although the castle was closed for renovation. Very easy to get in and out of the city. "Fantastic. We stayed at the Highlands Suites 2 years ago and that was great but this was better. Amazing location, easy to find and navigate. Clean, well appointed and spacious for our family of 5. Grocery Shopping at M&S is always an adventure, restaurants on the river are easily walkable and Main Street shopping is right outside the door. Parking is offsite at the Eastgate Ctr but worked fine. Much less Agro than on premises parking at Highlands Suites. Excellent, Excellent… highly recommend. "

Great hotel

"We had a great stay at this hotel. It’s fairly new, very clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. We also had dinner at the hotel, and the food was excellent. The only downside was the shower pressure, which could have been better. Overall, though, a fantastic experience, and we’d definitely stay again!"

"A wonderful old hotel, so convenient for public transport users, especially the train. Well that was why it was built. It would always be my first choice of places in Inverness. If you wish to be negative you could say finding the upper rooms is not straightforward. To me, that's a great characteristic - you may find yourself coming down by the right or left side of the wonderful staircase - it's very bonnie."
