"I cannot recommend this beautiful hotel and property enough! The pictures do not do it justice. What a gorgeous slice of paradise Don Rodrigo and his lovely wife have created. The staff and grounds crew are amazing! The pools (outdoor and indoor), wood fired hot tubs, saunas, restaurant, gardens, rooms, the hiking trails behind the hotel, the wine tasting in Casablanca Valley, love, love, love!! " I had a very nice stay at the Puerto Mayor. It was a good value for the cost especially since it included breakfast. The hotel personnel were pleasant and the room was quiet. I stayed there before a cruise and the cab ride to the terminal only took a few minutes. That was a real convenience. The hotel was within sight of the ship and no hotel was any nearer. I got to San Antonio by bus from Santiago and the taxi ride from the bus terminal to the hotel only took about 15 minutes."
