"A lady called Anna met us at the property. Very rude. We had asked owner to check in early due to flight but message hadn’t been passed on to her. She kept stomping past us as we sat outside waiting for her to put bedding in etc. When we asked if she could speak English to us she shouted NO. So that was our welcome. "We had a fantastic week at the villa. We didn’t have a car, but it was really well positioned near to 2 supermarkets and with plenty of great restaurants within a 15 minute walk. The bus into Denia was quick and easy. The house itself was excellent. Really well resourced and perfect for us. I feel there needs to be additional parasols around pool and barbeque area. Internally the villa needs a little bit of TLC. "Overall a lovely property, clean and well equipped, refurbished kitchens and bathrooms are lovely and the ceiling fans in both bedrooms are really welcome and help with a cool nights sleep. This property is only let down slightly by the outside areas which really need some TLC, but we appreciate that things do take time. The views are stunning and we would definitely stay again. "

"We had a good stay, it was quiet and relaxing. There were a couple of things damaged from the previous tenant which wasn't a great impression. The lock on the door broke which meant extra vigilance was needed to avoid getting locked in or out, and the pool was not clear which we pointed out within 5 minutes of our arrival, Claire was responsive but it still took 3 days until the pool guy put something in the pool specifically to clear it. I just put it down to bad luck but I was on holiday...

"Cesar the owner was brilliant from first point of call then it all went down hill kitchen sink blocked took 2 days to sort it out then the support in window fell out wasn’t secured properly jacuzzi in the bathroom wasn’t working Anita the host sent somebody round with keys which kept us waiting outside for 30 mins then turned up drunk the property was dirty inside We ended up coming home early as we was fed up with the issues"

"A friend and myself were looking for a quiet week away in the sun and this villa did not disappoint. The property is in excellent condition and well appointed. We spent most of our time in the pool and enjoyed BBQ in the outdoor kitchen area. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance or use the bicycles at the villa and head to the sea front where there are more restaurants. Overall a great week"

"Loved our stay in Villa Flora. Made to feel very welcome. Well equipped, comfortable and private with a beautiful pool and sheltered terraces. We did not want for anything.Also not far to drive to safe and quiet sandy beaches. Our stay passed all too quickly."

"Nice quiet comfy house with a beachside location which was ideal for a self-catering stay with our dog. You can walk for miles and the whole length of the beach is dog friendly. A car is absolutely essential as there are not really any restaurants or bars nearby that you can walk to in the evening."

When we first walked into the house and saw the views across the pool we were giddy. This trip was poignant for our family after the loss of our father. "There were so many places for the various members of the family to relax in, and also plenty of large places for us all to gather together in. The covered pool was fabulous. The only suggestion I would have would be to have the double beds as optional twin beds, it would be handy when you have a large family grouping."

"Its a nice place for a few dahs to a week or two. Perfect if you like putting about with the golf clubs or whatever. Peaceful, pleasant enough. Expensive to park at twenty bucks per night but they offer a complimentery breakfast whi h is absolutely fantastic and more than makes up for it. Full hot English with bacon, to order eggs, sausage, beans... well, anything you could imagine is on the buffet and, being so.ewhat of an afficianado of the "breakfasting experience", I would reccomend it. The resteraunt staff are so, so friendly and accomadating and cannot do enough for you. I had a fantastic view of the golf course and could also see my motor car from the balcony, which is lovely, so it was overall a lovely place to stay."

"We felt fortunate to find an available room at 7 Pisos Casa Rural de Pueblo during la Fira de Tots Sants. Lars and his team were very hospitable as was their young cat, Tita, who was loving and playful with my daughter. We loved the charm of Lars' and his wife's 300 year-old renovated building. Their eye for simplicity and style made returning to our room and waking up a pleasure! Our stay ticked all of the boxes: It was on the festival pathway (any noise from passersby stopped by around 10pm), comfortable mattresses, white absorbent large bath towels, modern amenities and a marvelous heated floor in the bathroom. Our room, #2 was very spacious with a small balcony on the street side. We explored upwards and found a communal sun room as well as a rooftop patio that were the "icing on the cake". Our breakfast each morning was served on time and with great care and generosity and in the most beautiful dining/lounge area. Cocentaina is a charming town made more enjoyable by our stay at 7 Pisos Casa Rural de Pueblo. We will return! "
