Sigrid is an excellent cook and prepared us, as we requested, a light dinner including home made gazpacho, tomato bread, charcuterie and other local specialties. We also sampled local wine and lemon liqueurs. The streets in the village are very narrow but Manuel arranged for us to park our car in a reserved parking spot close to his place and...

"It is a very quiet and peaceful place with a fabulous pizzeria nearby. We enjoyed getting out of the city, seeing the donkeys, and having a wonderful conversation with our host."

"Lovely property well maintained in a remote location. Sadly the pool wasn’t in operation during our stay but that did not detract. We were allocated the pool house so unable to comment on the main house. Owners are friendly, welcoming and eager to please. The village of Darnius is quaint but very much a one-horse town (unfortunately someone has stolen the horse). If it’s tranquility you are after, you will find it here."
