We had beautiful weather, which helped, but even if the weather hadn't been so good I think we would still have had a great stay. "The hosts were fabulous and blew is away with their welcome pack but is not suitable to sleep 4. Everything is just in one room and there's only seating for 2 unless you want to sit on a bar stool. The layout also needs rethinking because at one point my wife was in bed having a cup of tea and waved to the hosts as they pulled up in their car. If they switched the sofa and bed you'd get more privacy and be able to watch the tv from the sofa. Otherwise, it was great. Would recommend for a couple."

"Lovely quiet and restful stay. The hot tub is fab and the lodge is comfy, well equipped, clean and done out to a high standard. We really enjoyed our stay and will return sometime to further explore the wonderful Forest of Dean."
