"Myself, my hubby and two kids joined my parents and between us the two dogs for a long weekend away. The house is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The utility was great to dry off the dogs and kids. It was blowing a gale but it was so peaceful and quiet in the house you hardly noticed the weather! Perfect location just a few minutes walk to the beach and town. "

"The property is a lovely little find in Porthmadog. When you enter the house, the two bedrooms and bathroom are there on the ground floor but a short flight of stairs takes you to the living area which has the most wonderful view through a picture window of the estuary. We spent a lot of time just looking at this - tide in, tide out, swans, a heron who came each day and the way the view changed according to the weather. "Stayed for two nights. Great property large and spacious for our group of 6. Kitchen well equipped had a BBQ everything we needed was there. Very clean. Great location overlooking sea although a little noisy at times with main road not far away. Walked into local town very quiet but nice walk and visit to local pub and ordered from Chinese delicious. Visited the area for zipworld experiences and ideal location only 25 mins drive to Pentynn quarry. Outdoor areas need a bit of TLC but overall...

The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. "The cottage was exactly as pictured and in a great location. Everything was as advertised except there was no wood left for the hot tub or the wood burning stove inside. It was quite cool during our stay and a fire inside would have been nice. The hot tub was preheated when we arrived but there was no wood left for us to use the next day.
