"Our visit to Mellington Hall Country House Hotel was fantastic. The property is amazing, the staff were really attentive and amazing also. The food was superb and the service throughout was exceptional. After the meal we sat in the lovely building which has quiet rooms or an open fire. We went just before Christmas and so the property was probably quieter than during the summer months, but we definitely would return to enjoy walking in the surrounding countryside. "A lovely 3 night Stay in Hay on Wye. The cottage is stunning and so well located for browsing the shops, the sights and the castle and perfect to pop back and forth if needed. Very central but also very peaceful. Communication from Sue was amazing and she was really accommodating and generous throughout our stay. I would book here again in a heartbeat."
