"This is a little gem . We went there for our Ruby anniversary , the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and surprised us with a bottle of bubbly , cards and chocolates . "The booking through Hotels.com was really simple. The price I paid was great and it was much cheaper than that advertised for the same room on bookings.com We had a family room, which had two rooms joining so the privacy between adults and children was excellent. The children had a single bed each (we have a 13 year old and a 6 ysar old). We had a bathroom with toilet and shower. It was very quiet in our room and you could barely hear the comings and goings of other guests or street traffic....

"My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits.
