"This was my first trip to this Hotel. Friendly staff on arrival and during stay. Room clean tidy and quiet and well stocked with tea milk and coffee. Air con worked and you could open the windows for some fresh sea air. I used the restaurant for my evening meal and breakfast. Food service was quick with hot and good pub food. Breakfast was great again with friendly staff. My only minor issue (third world problem) was that breakfast service didn’t start until 8am, which is a bit late if you are on business. I would definitely stay again when next on business in the area. I was initially a bit hesitant because of some pretty damming past reviews but I was very satisfied with my 1 night business stay."

"Picture postcard hotel and restaurant set just above the perfect harbour of New Quay. Marston's pub so the food is standard but decent quality. The staff are cheerful, friendly and caring. The rooms are large and oddly shaped as you would expect for an old building. Warm and comfy bed with plenty of storage space and large bathroom and shower "

"The lady who checked us in was so lovely. We had a warm welcome and the room was cosy and lovely and warm. The bed was so comfortable and we had everything we needed. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the staff were very attentive. The dog was very welcome and he really enjoyed the stay too. I would highly recommend and we will be back soon."
