Traditional 18th Century Welsh Cottage

Welcome to our charming 18th-century Welsh cottage, nestled in the picturesque Tywi Valley, where old-world charm meets perfect tranquility.
Immerse yourself in the beauty of the surrounding countryside as you explore footpaths, forest trails, and mountain cycling routes. Keep an eye out for red kites and elusive red squirrels, or simply unwind in our peaceful garden and delight in the melodic symphony of birdsong. Experience the breathtaking scenery while savoring your morning coffee in blissful serenity, and don't miss the opportunity to gaze upon the spectacular night sky in the dark skies reserve.
Step back in time as you enter our dog friendly, traditional cottage, complete with low doorways, low character beams, a stone slab floor, and a cozy slate hearth with a wood burner. The open-plan living dining area, adjoining shower room, and bijou kitchen exude rustic charm, while the stairs lead to a first-floor landing with a reading area. The spacious family room offers a comfortable double bed, single bed, and a travel cot on request for added convenience. Outside, discover The Old Pound, a listed 18th-century historical feature, amidst our higgledy-piggledy cottage garden with its uneven paths, steps, and a lawn featuring a small shallow pond.

Located in a quiet and picturesque village, our cottage offers stunning views over the valley and is a short stroll from the local pub, serving delicious meals. For additional amenities and services, Llandovery is just a 7-mile drive away, offering supermarkets, a post office, garage, medical facilities, shops, and more. While there's no direct public transport to the village, taxis are available for your convenience.
Escape to our enchanting Welsh retreat and create cherished memories amidst the beauty and tranquility of the Tywi Valley. Book your stay with us today!
