Great location, bang in the middle of town , 10 mins walk to the castle, and plenty of pubs and restaurants. The bar prices were quite steep (£7.35 a pint!!) but the cocktails were reasonably priced. The whole hotel is dog friendly and a very short walk to the beach which they loved. Fantastic options for Gluten free also. Hopefully be back again next February."

"We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Tyn-y-Coed - the location is excellent for walking from the doorstep and the parking is great. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had good storage. The addition of a drying line in the bathroom is a super idea. We loved the styling of decor in reception and the bar/restaurant and enjoyed the Snowdon Lager on draught. We look forward to visiting again. "

"We were greeted at the bar ahead of time and allowed to check in early. We had booked a twin room and was allocated a room on the first floor that was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the linen very good. The room was rather too hot but a fan was provided. Staff were great. Breakfast the next morning was very good and cooked to order . I would definitely stay again. Free parking is a bomus."

"We had such a special weekend staying at Gwynant cottage, it was absolutely gorgeous inside and a lovely cosy setting for our young family. The personal touches, including a welcome package with drinks and snacks / milk etc was very appreciated after a long car journey with the children and it was excellent to have plenty of towels and even robes provided. The cottage had everything we needed and was very well equipped for cooking too, it feels like a home away from home. We can’t wait to come...
