"As soon as you enter the property you're transported down south. The very first thing you see when you drive in the driveway is their beautiful orchard with delicious fruit. When we looked at the photos we almost wondered if this was a scam,it most definitely IS NOT! The owner gave us a tour after we settled in. The 5 acre property used to be an elementary school which explains the very obvious seclusion of the entire space. If the owners daughter hadn't come out to the street to flag us down we...

"Great down town location but, if your not from around here and don’t have a vehicle it makes it tough. The ceiling walls are thin so you hear everything going on above you. The bed is comfortable and it’s nice having a furnished kitchen. Would stay again if I needed to. "

Fort Pontchartrain Detroit, a Wyndham Hotel

"We stayed here for New Year’s Eve. Staff at check in and check out were very friendly and fun. We used valet parking $40 for overnight. Didn’t have to worry about the stress of finding parking in downtown Detroit on NYE. We had a river view room on the 17th floor. It was a nice size and great views of Canada and river front. Traffic was a bit nosey being right in the road but that is expected in the area. "
