The space
Blackhawk's Nest is an affordable lodging option for those adventurous travelers looking for a simple, peaceful place to stay in the heart of Paradise Valley while experiencing Montana & Yellowstone National Park.
Our studio type unit can sleep up to 5 people, ideal for 3-4 adults or a 5 person family with children. This is an open floor-plan European tiny house accommodation. It is off the beaten-path with nothing but big starry Montana skies.

This clean, cozy, and quiet cabin is ideal for those who want to enjoy the serene and unparalleled beauty of Montana, from an affordable base-camp - exploring, eating their way through the local restaurants and ending their day by soaking up the memories of their day with a bonfire, under the milky way stars.

The NEST ACCOMMODATIONS:
Newly remodeled tiny house on the owner's property (where he currently lives) streamlined and efficiently designed features throughout. The center-piece to this darling cabin is the bunk bed (full size on bottom, twin on top). There's an additional sleeping loft with 2 more twin beds. We ask that children not access or sleep in the loft! A nice clean full bathroom with a shower and fresh clean towels and linens for all beds. There is not a full kitchen, but you will enjoy a table and chairs for morning coffee, microwave, basic utensils & dish-ware, a purified water hot & cold dispenser for those backpacker basics & light meals. Magnificent views abound in 360 degrees on the private deck, with gas grill, fire pit area with 4 Adirondack chairs, and yard games.

The Cabin can accommodate up to 5 people with all linens, towels, basic amenities and kitchen basics provided. Pet considered with approval and $50 fee.

LOCATION:
Smack-dab in the middle of stunning Paradise Valley (half way between Livingston and the north gates of Yellowstone National Park)- you will experience beauty in all directions; from the expansive valley and rising mountains of the Absaroka Beartooth Mountains to the East, the Gallatin Mountains to the West and South, and you can even see the Crazy Mountains to the North. For a true Montana experience, you won't find better views than this special spot. The home sits on 20 acres with private undeveloped land. Wildlife is common here - mainly deer, pronghorn and elk. Beautiful night skies with abundant stars are guaranteed!

41 Miles to Gardiner (39 miles on paved road), 41 miles to the Bozeman Airport, and 17 miles (27 minutes) the heart of historic downtown Livingston.

DISCLAIMER: The gravel road into the property is only 3.2 miles from the turn off on Highway 89, but do be prepared to slow it down on some dusty & bumpy gravel "back roads driving" roads, as you'd anticipate in Montana, the last best place!

There is a keybox on the side of the cabin for self check-in and check-out.

Garbage service is not available at this location, there are several places nearby to dispose of your bagged garbage, a map will be provided.

Beautiful Mountain Views
We stayed 2 nights while we explored the north part of Yellowstone. The cabin is very functional & had some nice amenities such as robes, coffee & the firepit area. Do not leave the front door even cracked at night when the lights inside are on or you’ll get bug-infested! Also….the drive to the cabin is down very long, rutted, gravel roads. We were glad we had a Jeep. You won’t be close to any conveniences so be sure you’re stocked up before you arrive. The views from this cabin are exceptional! We were in awe of the mountains, stars & the warm gentle evening winds.

Our family of four stayed two nights to end our Yellowstone trip. This place was breathtaking. Comfortably fit myself, husband, our 18 and 15 year old kids. Nice big bathroom. Owner that lives on the property was so nice and respectful. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

INCREDIBLE!
This VRBO is a hidden gem. I've stayed in several all over the country and this one was by far the most beautiful! Absolutely loved the bathroom products, and the attention to details throughout the cabin. The fire pit and stargazing at night were absolutely gorgeous. Every morning, the mountain views were so beautiful! The owner was friendly and gave me excellent recommendations for local food and breweries! I will be staying here again! Excellent VRBO!

Great private, peaceful location
Blackhawk’s Nest was exactly as specified in pictures. It was very comfortable , and surprisingly roomy with a standard size/larger than we expected bathroom. The drive to theNest is about 3 miles from the main road... you’ll drive by horses, some cows, and might see wild rabbits hopping along. We would stay there again.
