No sign to say where to check in. Noisy until,1am from pub music, but it was St. Patrick’s Day and therefore this might have been unusual.
A very nice pub to stay in nice bar and friendly staff. Kitchen available with free cereal etc the room was clean and decent and a good shower in the en suite. For the price paid it was very good. Parking was ok but on street. No food available when I stayed but a take away near by and the food was excellent there also the Mersey pub a short walk down the road with nice view over the river. Very happy and would stay again.
Stayed in a room with the cooler for the pub on the outside of the wall. Zero sleep. If booking, avoid room 10 if you wish to actually sleep

Very basic hotel
I arrived at 10:00, music from the bar was very loud and seemed to go on forever, slept well, tho, cos it had been a busy day, breakfast (milk and tea bags etc., was off!
Having booked our hotels for the festival weekend quite late, this was our last choice. When we arrived the staff were fairly friendly and showed us to the rooms. However the people inside the pub downstairs stared us out like they'd never seen anyone like us before. I went to the local corner shop (1 min away) to get some snacks and was started on twice by locals. They told us that the pub would close at 12 which was fine as we had to get up early the next day to check out. However, the tragic karaoke and out of key Ed Sheehan covers went on until past 3am. The rooms were vibrating and we couldn't sleep at all. There was fighting right outside my window until the early hours as well. We left swiftly in the morning trying to figure out where to check the keys in as no staff were around at the allocated time. I hugely recommend this hotel if you're looking for somewhere loud and dodgy. If you're looking for a proper nights sleep and comfy beds, maybe try somewhere else.
I did not have the opportunity to visit the room as there was no attendant. It was isolated withing a rubbish environment with just dogs barking in a locked room. It was situated in a run down Estate with ganglike boys on the bike parading the environment. It's a shame that that type of hotel should be advised on your site. It's totally rubbish. I couldn't sleep in that environment for free.
