The leonardo hotel is lovely the staff are very welcoming greeted us with a smile. Also gave us information about what to do when parking and where the car park was. check in was so quick and easy. The staff on reception and the bar area were lovely and chatty and very pleasant and professional. Our room was lovely the bed was very comfortable and our room was very clean and very spacious had everything we needed. We also booked breakfast for the morning the staff was very helpful and professional can’t wait to stay again will be definitely recommending to friends and family thank you for making us feel so welcome

Lovely room with a superb view.Very comfortable bed. Extremely clean room and hotel. Fluffy big towels and gowns. Friendly staff. Handy location for walking to centre, so close to pretty Albert Docks. Good security checked if we were staying when we came back to hotel late. Close to car park. The lobby, bar, and breakfast area were clean and well maintained, the hallways, rooms, and especially the room bathrooms were filthy. The paint above the bathtub/shower was peeling and moments away from falling off as you showered. The calk in the bathroom was covered in black mold. Every corner of the bathroom had dirt in it. There was feces and/or blood on the wall just over the toilet tissue. There was visible trash (discarded sugar packets, discarded water bottles, etc.) on the hallway floors. The same in the elevators, where you could also find discarded food. This was not cleaned up from the time that we saw it the evening prior to the following morning. The carpet in the hallways was thread bare in many places and dirty. Be aware that this hotel is just across from the M&S Bank Event center and when there is an event going on the hotel bar fills up with event goers. This makes it incredibly difficult for travelers to get food. The hotel staff that we encountered put forth little to no effort. They did their job begrudgingly and at the expense of any customer service. Would not recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel..fantastic bar staff.. Negatives we left sign on door asking for room to be cleaned but on return sign was turned over and a note was left to say we hadn't asked for room to be cleaned but could get service by phoning reception....obviously cleaning staff couldnt be bothered and on second day at breakfast we were told that the delivery of eggs had not come so no fried eggs were available but there was a continuous supply of scrambled eggs whilst we were sitting in the breakfast room?

Really nothing special about this place think you should look in to your prices went make me and the wife a drink and the kettle had water in it from the last guest paid for breakfast and it was cold in knot a one for complaining but just thinking for the money we've paid it just not worth it

While location is convenient if you are attending the events in venues around and area is so nice, this hotel is simply dirty!! Towels - dirty (while changed daily, the "clean ones" are not clean, sheets - dirty (3 nights and no one bothered to change sheets with huge stain on them, even if asked, carpet - dirty; was not vacuumed 3 days I was there. Add mold all over the bathroom and you get a place one should never visit.

We checked in no problem and went to our room, a shoe print on the wall next to the bed, a big stain on the floor at the side of the bed and all coffee or tea near the bin, why not put a small caddy at the side of kettle, went and spoke to reception and was told oh someone must have spilt something!!! £150 a night without breakfast with stains on carpets!!!. We returned to our room sat night and only one of our key cards would open the door. Went Sunday morning after breakfast and both had stopped working so down to reception again, hotel fantastic place for convenience and I have stopped inleonardo hotels before but be very surprised if I stopped here ever again, it was oh someone must have spilt something deal with it, not very good for a big chain of hotels , would give Liverpool 2 stars
