I was a little disappointed having previously stayed at an IHG Holiday Inn in Manchester that could really not be faulted. We paid over £100 more to stay here for the night and it just was not worth it. Your biggest plus by far was the bar/restaurant area, breakfast and its staff.

The hotel was quite clean and typical of a Holiday Inn. The employees make this place excellent. From Owen at the front desk to Lindsay at the breakfast. Over and above helpful. Thank you!. Only complaint is I booked a KING and think our room was a Queen and it was like a trampoline. Very bouncy. Otherwise very quite and safe. Lots of party bars and places close by and sights and the shopping is quite good.

Cant say a bad word about this hotel, very clean, even when we jokingly run our fingers over the mirror and picture frames, there was no dust. Although this hotel is opposite the station and lively music bars, it was very quiet at night in our room. Very comfy bed, temperature was perfect, water temperature was perfect. The breakfast was outstanding, so much to choose from. The staff were super friendly, helpful and attentive, even offering advice on places to visit Highly recommended

The staff are the real stars of this place, super helpful and friendly. Excellent location for our needs and the parking in close proximity was handy. Lovely view of the Liver Building and the 9th floor was nice and quiet…. Bed was very firm which might not be to everyone’s liking. Breakfast was nice, didn’t try the restaurant for any other meals.

A few days away
Staff were great. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The only slight issue was that our room was at the back of the hotel (which had brilliant views of Liverpool) and we were overlooking the roof of the St Johns shopping centre, not a problem in its self but at night the air conditioning fans were running continuously and you could hear a constant hum. It was not enough to complain but we did mention it to the receptionist when leaving. They were very apologetic and offered to enrol us in ING hotel points scheme and award us extra points for inconvenience. They also advised they would look into the noise issue. We would definitely stay there again but might request room at the front.
