"Fantastic little cottage and the attention to details was great!!! The owners supplied milk, coffee, tea and chocolate chip muffins which were very much welcomed after a long drive. Location was brilliant and very close to Alton Towers (5 mins drive) and the suggested walks around the area were very relaxing. All in all we had a fantastic and relaxing time staying in this cottage. Definitely will be back and recommend to family and friends."

"This is a lovely cottage. It is charming, clean, comfortable and cosy. We had a nice surprise when we walked into the cottage and saw the beautiful Christmas decorations. The cottage is very well equipped and they seem to have thought of everything. The cottage is in a great location being just a five minute walk from the town centre and all it's amenities, the local park and the Tissington trail. I would most certainly recommend Lace Cottage to friends and family. everything. "

"A lovely 3 day break at this beautiful home. The location was lovely, with some nice walks with the dogs. We went for rest and relaxation and we certainly got that. The host Philippa was great and was there on hand to explain everything to us. There was a lovely marmalade cake waiting for us with fresh milk and eggs.when we arrived. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone. Thank you Philippa for a lovely stay!"

A beautiful country setting with beautiful views of the river and farmland. Well equipped rooms, with all appliances you could ever need. Rooms were cosy and warm. We loved using the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Highly recommend and I would love to stay here again, given the opportunity."
