Plus, right next to beach access and 10 feet from Flo's Clam Shack, with other restaurants nearby. Great location also, if you run; terrific paths along waterside neighborhoods and to the other Newport beaches. Good size room. Love having fridge and microwave. Big open lounge with tables for families to eat at are helpful in the 2nd story lounge,...

"For our 25th anniversary we chose Newport, RI for a getaway. As first time visitors, we researched options and chose the Vanderbilt because it seemed central in location and the fact there were onsite spa services and good bar. This first choice was fortunate because we then met Morgan, the lead concierge. I booked the hotel and then immediately emailed re:spa services. Morgan called within 5 minutes of my email to book our appts and then proactively offered other services, ideas, and resources....
