Lititz Family Friendly Apt by the Hammer Creek

We are located in the country along the Hammer Creek about 3 miles northeast of the charming town of Lititz and are approximately 30 minutes from the major Lancaster County attractions. This is a beautiful family friendly home with a private entrance which nicely accommodates four people. The entire apartment is approximately 1100 square feet. The property consists of a large outdoor area by a pond and creek with a picnic area that you are welcome to use. WiFi and a smart TV are provided.

The home was spotless, cozy and inviting. The location was convenient to all the touristy things, but rural and refreshing. The hosts were lovely, provided an excellent notebook with info about the home and surrounding area, as well as coffee and snacks too! The best rental experience we’ve ever had.

Always a Pleasure — Highly recommended
This property is a beautiful, spacious apartment at one end of the owners’ home, with a separate parking area and separate entrance. There’s a big deck overlooking the pond and fields, and plenty of comfortable indoor space as well. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped, the beds are comfortable — in short, it’s great.The location is ideal for exploring Lancaster County and the charming town of Lititz. Note that a car is needed, as the apartment is out in the country.Harvey and Mary Ann are lovely hosts, a pleasure to deal with.

Great location in the countryside not far from Lititz. Overlooks a large pond with nearby woods and corn fields. Well appointed and maintained with everything we needed. Nice laundry room, beautiful deck, and good outside lighting. Comfortable beds

Beautiful property
Harvey’s property was beautiful and the apartment was very spacious and clean. We were blessed to have beautiful weather during our stay which allowed us to enjoy the deck and the trout stream just outside. Harvey was a great host and we would gladly stay here again!

Amazing attention to detail
We had an amazing stay in the apartment. Attention to detail was evident when we found a basket of snacks, coffee, towels, shampoo, body wash, and even bubble bath! The apartment was exceptionally clean and the deck was absolutely perfect. Thank you for such a marvelous stay!

Great family time in Lancaster
The house was absolutely perfect for our family trip for a wedding in Lititz. The place was very spacious, well decorated, and clean -- we felt right at home. It was great to have the outdoor space to relax and our hosts were super responsive and left great recommendations (we loved the Tomato Pie Cafe). Would recommend to anyone with a party of 3-4 to stay there on their trip to town.

Amazing vacation rental!
We had a wonderful stay at the Fox's rental. The property was very well kept, incredibly homey and had everything we needed. They literally thought of everything! The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, but not intrusive. We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation, and hope to return!

Peaceful Little piece of PA
This was probably one of my favorite VRBOs! The accommodations were lovely. Everything was cozy and comfortable and the deck overlooking the pond was a fantastic place to read and have coffee. We felt conveniently located to all the area had to offer. The best part of the rental was the sweet family that hosted us. The Fox family are not at all intrusive but are kind and welcoming and happy to assist with anything you might need. Two thumbs up for this little jewel!

Feels like home
This is the best of Lancaster County: rural landscapes, friendly, kind people and a warm welcome. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, sparkling clean, modern and well-equipped. We enjoyed the views of skaters on the pond and Amish buggies going by. There’s lots to do and see in the area. It’s an ideal place to stay in Lancaster County.

A lovely quiet place in a pleasant setting
We really enjoyed our stay at this place. It’s the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed at and the king size bed was very comfortable. Nice and quiet at night. Harvey was helpful and available. There is a nice spot on the other side of the pond by the river, where trees shade a grassy area and would make a lovely place for a picnic. On the pond itself we saw Geese with their gosling’s and find another day, there were 10 geese congregating on the little island. The town of Lititz is charming.

Cozy apartment; nice setting
This property is truly a home away from home. Furnished nicely giving it that cozy feel. Clean and well- stocked. Quiet location over looking a gorgeous pond. Located away from all the hustle and bustle, yet not far from the many attractions Lancaster County has to offer. Owner was kind, courteous and concerned with our comfort. We would stay here again if we return to the area.

Exactly what we wanted
We stayed for a Mom's Weekend and couldn't have been happier. The space was immaculate. The surroundings were relaxing. We loved the lake and willow tree. When we had a block in the tub, the owner was incredibly quick to respond and find a solution. It was amazing, and I hope I find an excuse to come back at some point.

Beautiful country setting
The Family Friendly Apartment is better than advertised. Hosts Harvey and Mary Ann could not have been nicer. The apartment had every amenity that you could envision and some that were above and beyond expectations. The deck overlooking the beautiful pond and all of the fall foliage was an extra treat. We look forward to another great stay for our next visit to Lititz.

Another great stay
This was our third time staying in this beautiful apartment, and it was great as usual. We appreciated the addition of twin beds in place of the daybed in the second bedroom. As always, everything was spotlessly clean. The open kitchen is well-equipped, the living area is spacious and airy, with a lovely view over the pond and the fields. Harvey is a gracious and welcoming host, who makes everything easy and home-like. And it’s only a short drive from the charming town of Lititz — a perfect place from which to explore Lancaster County.

Just Beautiful
Everything was perfect. You are in the country but close to everything. Unit was comfortable and well supplied with cleaning and paper products. If there had to be one criticism is that there is no cable -just a smart TV. We already have our stay booked for next year.

Harvey & Mary Ann's place was just as beautiful in person as it is in the photos. And it was clear that a lot of thought went into every space to make the guest experience a great one. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of extra linens in the bathroom. Clean! And a good overall setup with the bedrooms separated from the main living area. The hosts were accommodating with a special request (re: checkout), and excellent with communications. A very warm and welcoming experience from start to finish. And you can't beat the peaceful view of the pond!

Quiet Lancaster county getaway
This property is ideally located from all the attractions Lancaster county has to offer. One can enjoy a relaxing evening on the deck after a day filled with sightseeing or outdoor adventure. Those who are skilled at grilling will be in awe of the almost new Weber gas grill provided for memorable evenings with family members. All other household appliances are provided for the use of guests. The hosts are available for all questions and for solving any issues that may arise during your stay. We recommend this property to all who are looking for a well appointed but rural place for their base to experience the wonders of central Pennsylvania.
