" The staff is Excellent!! The hotel is in great shape. It is easy to find you way to around. I really must say the hotel staff goes beyond what you would experience at a regular hotel. Sam at the check in, helped me out on a daily basis answering questions with the hotel and the surrounding area. The manager, I forgot his name was excellent and beyond helpful. "Staying in a newly refurbished room on the 3rd floor, everything was fresh and clean (though the pattern on the new carpet makes it look a bit threadbare in places). The fish and chips dinner was large and well cooked but the apple crumble dessert was disappointing as it was a small tart that seemed to have just been warmed up in a microwave and the ‘smudge’ of custard on the plate was barely enough to fill a teaspoon. Breakfast was plentiful and top quality, service for both dinner and breakfast was excellent. "

"We had our daughters christening here and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. Tara from reception was so kind and friendly, my 3 year old loved her, she kept wanting to back to the reception. The rooms were clean and spacious, there was an issue with the shower—it wasn’t providing hot water at the time of the stay. However, this problem was outweighed by our positive experience with the staff, who were so kind and welcoming. Overall experience was good because of the staff's friendliness"
