"Shopping and the old town were close, and the train/bus station was a 5 minute walk away. The area was a bit rougher at night on the main road, but the street the hotel is on is very quiet at night. We were on the ground floor facing the road and heard nothing! The proprietress is very lovely and allowed us to store our bags when we arrived very early off the ferry. The little petit dejeuner in the morning (coffee, orange juice and a croissant) was a lovely bonus! Thank you for a nice stay! "

The location is very remote in that it is around 1 km up a gravel road and the nearest supermarket is a 15 minute drive away. "The staff were so nice and accommodating! We didn’t have a car upon arrival and they set us up a rental immediately! They have a private beach within walking distance, but many amazing restaurants and beaches are reachable in a 5-10 min drive. The room was spacious and clean, a bit dated but gave beach house vibes and we weren’t spending much time indoors so we didn’t mind! Definitely recommend staying here. "
