"We have just returned home from a wonderful 5 night stay in Beussent. The village is lovely and peaceful with a lovely stream running through. The house itself was great, a little small upstairs and I did feedback that they should advertise bedroom 2 as interconnecting. This is ideal for families with smaller children but with 3 teenagers - not ideal. The downstairs space and garden was perfect. We visited Montreuil many times and beautiful Le Touquet. Would 100% return and the weather was HOT!"

"Ideal location for the good quality golf courses in the area. Whilst this is a good property there were a few areas that we thought could be improved on. We arrived on a Sunday evening and shops are closed in France. A welcome pack with a few essentials would be appreciated. Listing on VRBO advised that towels were provided, none in the gite, not even a tea towel for drying up. "Although we have been to Northern France on numerous occasions this was a first, and it did not disappoint. Large property accommodating our party of 3 adults and 3 children (9-14). Enough bedrooms for all and a well equipped kitchen and a large loungec dine with all the cutlery and glasses you could wish for. "This was a good large cottage in a very quiet village only an hour into France from Calais. Nice sizable garden for the kids to have fun. The coast and Belgium were both within reach for days out."

"A clean but tired old and small 2 bedroom static caravan, but with all the facilites you might need for a short break. On a small village campsite deep in the countryside, it really is a very quiet and peaceful location, great for pleasant local strolls. This caravan can't really be compared to modern caravans on more popular and expensive sites, and for this it's certainly priced accordingly, so don't set your expectations too high and you'll be happy you found somewhere to stay for such little...

"Very well equipped and sizeable property. Lovely garden to relax in on the evenings. Really enjoyed our stay and property is in a good location to explore the surrounding area. Just a couple of things let it down, the sofa covers really need a clean and the bedroom curtains really do need fit better to block out any light. Overall very good value money."

"We absolutely loved our stay here, we had everything we needed. We met both Carine and her son in law, both very warm and welcoming, and quick to respond to messages when we needed some assistance. "We tour on a motorcycle and washing and drying facilities for our clothes etc is a necessity. This gite has everything we could need. Its spacious and comfortable and the countryside around is beautiful. There are many places to visit which are not too far away. And we are convinced that this is the sunniest spot around."

"This is a very basic apartment and has a very odd damp/mouldy/unaired smell on entering & a little dusty but it was fine & had everything you could need for a short break including an iron & board, hairdryer and kitchen equipment including a coffee maker, toaster & microwave. It was quite small but was enough for 2 adults & a teen. Parking was included & the car was outside the apartment so easy access & secure. "The property manager was very accommodating, looking out for us, providing equipment when asked. The property was very clean and welcoming, had plenty of beds (10!) and two bathrooms (one bath, two showers). Plenty of room for cars in the driveway and well located near the town, this is 40mins from Le Touqet and Berck seaside resorts and 30 mins from the Anglo-French Chateau. 90 minutes away from Belgium if you fancy crossing the border and only 45 minutes from 'Le Shuttle'. Fantastic, welcoming, very friendly staff

"Service was excellent from start to finish. The gentleman that greeted us was efficient and throughout our stay helped the other staff with english translation. We could not fault him, I just wish we had asked his name to add his name to this review, he was on duty every day we were staying at the hotel. The food available for breakfast was fantastic, tasty and so much choice. The meals in the evening was also delicious. The hotel is 1 minute from the train station. There is a car park avaiable for 10 euros per day. We would absolutely recommend this hotel & will definitely be staying their again"
