Well appointed charming hotel in a very convenient location. All the main sites are within a 10 minute scenic walk. It was nice that everything is accessible, but without the noise and busy crowds. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety. I enjoyed my stay and would come back!

This was our second stay at Carmo Hotel. We would not like to stay anywhere else in Lisbon. This is mainly because of the position of the Hotel and the quality of the service. We found the staff again very helpful and considerate. We are very grateful to all of them as they made our stay so pleasant.

We stayed in Lisbon recently (February 2025) for 9 days. This lovely hotel, recommended by Rick Steves, was perfectly located for day trips and next to a small park-like square. The hotel staff were helpful and kind -- one even walked us to a nearby restaurant. We like our room and the fine breakfast provided as part of the package. One of the nicest places I've stayed abroad. Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel with a great location. Staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was good with a decent variety of foods. The only issue I had was the air conditioning did not work well in the room. We did not push the issue since it is March and the room cooled if we opened the balcony door. We did let staff know. Hopefully had it been the heat of summer they would have fixed it.

It’s great hotel to stay when you visit Lisbon. The location is in the city center, a lot of restaurants nearby. The front desk staffs are very friendly and helpful. I’d like to give my special thanks to Leonardo, he is very kind and patient to help me. Answered all my questions clearly and patiently. I definitely will be back to the hotel next time when I travel to Lisbon.
