Disliked: Amenities, property conditions & facilities
The apartment was unbearably hot during the day, with only a flimsy and noisy stand fan that provided little relief. The constant noise from barking dogs, loading and unloading, and people talking and shouting loudly late into the night made it difficult to sleep.
The property management was unresponsive, only contacting me 20 minutes before check-in time, which made me initially suspect the booking might be a scam. Unlike hotels, there was no option to wait in a lobby before or after check-in/out, which was inconvenient. Additionally, when I tried to reach them to ask about check-out procedures, there was no response at all.
The beds were also disappointing—they were much lower and far less comfortable than they appeared in the website photos. The smelly pillows made sleeping even more unpleasant. After spending a few days in Lisbon, I can confidently say that location isn't the only factor to consider when choosing where to stay. With affordable public transportation and Uber (ranging from 8 to 15 Euros), it’s easy to get around the city from other areas.
If you're looking for a comfortable and quiet place to unwind after a long day of exploring, I would recommend considering a 3-4 star hotel instead. It might even be more affordable, offering greater comfort and the added benefit of breakfast.
