Apartment in the Heart of Old Lisbon

Apartment completely renovated in 2011 in the heart of old Lisbon, near the historical center of Lisbon.
Set in a typical neighborhood in a quiet and peaceful street, is the historic center of Lisbon to less than 5 minutes walk, can visit the Rossio, Restauradores, Avenida da Liberdade, Marques de Pombal, Chiado, Bairro Alto, Camões, Castle St. Jorge.
In the area there are several monuments, churches, sights to see, Clubs, Bars, and still experience the famous Ginginha Rossio.
The apartment is about 200 meters from the historic center of Lisbon, Rossio, Restauradores.
At the center will have available all necessary transport to enjoy your stay: Metro, Bus, Train, Taxi. It's really close.
The apartment is equipped to make our guests feel at home.
In the apartment there are many maps available to help our guests to visit: Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais, and surrounding areas.
The apartment is about 10 minutes by taxi from the airport.
The apartment is on the center of the city, but nearby (200 mts of the apartment) can be park the car.
There are beautiful beaches around Lisbon like Estoril or Cascais (around 15 kms – 30 minutes by train)

Quaint and charming apartment.
Great location, friendly, historic neighborhood accessible to true old Lisbon. Markets, cafes, bars on our street, which was VERY steep. Parking is a bit of an issue. Woukd definitely stay again.

The property was fine but the pictures on the web site were really very poor. Incredibly steep steps leading up to the front door. No instructions for the oven of washing machine. The iron needs replacing

Terrific location!

The apartment is comfortable and fully equipped for staying and cooking in but restaurant’s abound nearby. Old Lisbon - can walk to important sights.The old stone road is steep but there is view of the river from the little step out balcony.

Character old building located a few minutes walking distance to two metro stations and walkable distance to popular touristy neighbourhoods. Soft bed and spacious apartment with a well equipped kitchen. Tough for light sleepers as it’s an old building that isn’t soundproof at all so you can noticeably hear when others enter/leave the building or are walking around in the apartment above, which was a pain getting woken up at 3 and 6 am. Some nearby roads felt a little unsafe walking home at night but easy to avoid by choosing a different route back to the apartment.

Fantastic
My wife and I spent 4 nights in this flat. We had a wonderful time, Carla was great to work with. She even left us some special treats as we were celebrating an anniversary. The location was near train, Metro and bus stations as well as many great sites!We had a wonderful time and we highly recommend!

Everything we could ask for
Perfect for us in every way. Location, very clean, cozy, everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Communication was top notch, from check in to any questions we had. Easy walk to town, shops and restaurants, as well as sights, public transportation and E28 tram. We would definitely recommend. House on the Hill
The property is very down to earth and humble. One feels comfortable a typical Portuguese home with lots of good vibes. Clean, close to amenities and quiet. Thanks Carla for the goodies that you left on the table, it was a nice touch, you really care for your guest.

Authentic Lisbon Experience
Small older apartment in central district. Very well stocked with all you need but little is new. Bed very comfy but only accessible from one side. Tiny grocery 60 m away. Close to central area and Metro but up the hill a bit. Our host provided a welcome basket of nice wine, loaf of bread, jams and pates. We enjoyed our stay!

Great stay in Lisbon
Our apartment was close to Rossio Square and train station. Hosts were amazing. Responsive. Friendly. It was fun and interesting to stay in a neighborhood and use local markets and eateries. It can be a little loud and it is an uphill walk from tourist areas.

We loved our stay! This was our first time in Lisbon and my friend and I really enjoyed the location - quiet neighborhood, but close to all the historical sites, restaurants and nightlife. The apartment was cozy, and had all the amenities. I reached out to Carla twice with simple questions - once before our stay and once during our stay and she was quick to respond. A nice surprise to find fresh bread, wine and goodies on the table when we arrived. Thank you!

Charming & Convenient Stay in Lisbon!
Perfect for a couple. Nice welcome basket after traveling. Immaculately clean. Located in a traditional neighborhood and convenient to many Lisbon highlights. We loved being able to get to the Metro, bus and tram in Martim Moniz or Rossio, the train at Rossio was easy access too. Shops and restaurants nearby. Situated on a hill so be prepared for climbs, but great for a daily work out! We loved Lisbon!

Great value stay in heart of Lisbon
As this was our third stay in Carla's apartment we can confidently recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in the heart of Lisbon. The apartment is very clean, well maintained and fully equipped for a short or longer stay. The location is within easy walking distance of restaurants, metro lines, buses and rail station. The neighbourhood is lively and friendly with a number of small local restaurants and shops.
