"This is my second time staying here, but I'm sad to say that the rooms I got this time were a little dated and smelled like mold (both of them). I like Lipa City very much although the traffic can be terrible sometimes. There is some good shopping. I often go to nearby Padre Garcia to visit family. I have visited nearby Lake Taal and volcano which is a great adventure and also visiting Lobo

Lipa is a very crowded busy city downtown. The traffic can be terrible and take a long time getting across town either in car, jeepney or tricycle. Staying at Mount Malarayat was nice relief from the city.
