"We stayed over the Christmas holidays for 2 nights as a family of 4 in a Pirate room. We loved the design of the room, of course as the cheapest room, it was very small, not at all sound proof & some wear and tear eg lots of condensation on windows. "The lodges were lovely and clean, there is lots of space between them so you never felt overlooked. They also provided more things in the house than I'm used to. There was dishwasher tablets and tea towels. The shop in the main building was also really good and not too expensive. If anything the site is too big and a long walk to the main bit especially if you have a child who normally doesn't use a buggy. The main bit is really good and has lots to do.
