We only stayed one night en route to Porto so were unable use all the hotel's facilities but it was so nice we almost decided to rearrange our holiday to stay for extra nights. "

The interior of the castle is its very own museum, with plenty of rooms and halls to explore. Our room was the perfect combination of historic charm and modern hotel luxury. We would recommend doing the wine tasting in one of the historic kitchens with Diogo, who was excellent! Our stay was one to remember."
