"The place is really beautiful. The receptionist was very sweet person. She arranged snorkelling tour, laundry, transport at a very cheap rate. She also gave us little turtle souvenirs. The place is deep inside the island 2km from the port, so it's better to take a horse carriage. The area is a little quiet and dark at the night, so i suggest you to take a torch with you. The pool is very salty, but if you wanna chill by the pool there's a lot of areas. The canteen inside is decent."

"Had a wonderful stay at this traditional style, arty and well appointed boutique resort. Dolcemare has beautiful grounds and is extremely well located for the best part of Gili Air. Our whole stay was fantastic, made better by all the personal and thoughtful touches, such as sarongs and kimonos in the room, and a selection of considerate amenities ranging from toothbrushes, face masks & sanitary products. The staff were fantastic and also organised quality bicycles for us at a very fair cost....

"The room is fantastic and the owner is very friendly. We loved having coffee, as much water as you want and bikes to ride around the islands. I was unsure whether Gili Air would be a bit too busy for us but we loved it. There are lots of nice restaurants. We are now at Gili Meno but wish we had stayed longer here and done a day trip to Gili Meno instead. If you are looking at this hotel book it! And do a day trip to one of the other islands instead."
