"My daughter and I greatly enjoyed our recent overnight stay at La Mere Poulard. The current renovations did lend to a less-than-ideal level of cleanliness and noise, and the buildings are definitely in need of them. Despite this, however, it was hard to be upset in such a historic and beautiful place! Breakfast was delightful. We would definitely stay again- and highly recommend a meal at the restaurant! "

"The position is amazing with unimpeded views towards the mount. The walk to the island from there is flat and easy if you enjoy walking or you can take the free shuttle bus which stops right outside. Our room was spacious and comfortable and we had a wonderful view across the fields to Mont Saint Michel. "

"We used Granville as our hub to explore the Normandy area in France. We rented a car and stayed at Hotel des Bains for five nights. The room was clean and comfortable. We had our adult son along so we book the "Superior Family Room side sea view" which was excellent. Our son had his own area with a privacy curtain. Our balcony looked over the sea. We had a great stay."

"A gem of a place in the vicinity of Mont St. Michel. The owner personally welcomed and took us to our suite which was spacious and luxurious. The attention to detail of what it offered was extraordinary and the room was extremely quiet. For breakfast, we had croissants and coffee-- the very best croissants in all of France and the coffee was superb! And for a nominal fee, we were also driven a few minutes to the shuttle bus going to Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey. All in all, an enjoyable stay at...

"Historic building made into a charming hotel. I stayed in one of the new, renovated rooms but most of the hotel is an old and cozy building. Staff are bilingual, rooms are clean, and it’s in a good location in town. I hope to stay there again one day!"

"We stayed at the little house and it was splendid. Very spacious, it smelled great. Beds are truly comfortable. This place has everything a family of four could need and more. Their grounds are beautifully trimmed and kept, maintained and designed. Breakfast buffet was beyond delicious, their bread and crepes were very good. It was all very clean, calm, and quiet. I need to go back and stay many nights there. I will recommend for sure! All the staff here, every single person that works here greeted us with a smile. Thanks to all of you! "

"Visiting Mont St Michel? You will find attentive, personable service that makes you feel like home along with a great location that is central to many popular local places to visit, such as Avranches and Pontorson. I highly recommend this place. My little doggy had space to run around and was welcome warmly. The room was clean as was the rest of the property. Breakfast available and served daily. Room service is excellent. A car is recommended in this area and this place has plenty of free parking. If you have an electric vehicle, there is a parking space for you to charge your car (please note, it's not a super charger, but an overnight charge will allow you to get enough energy to get around locally and there are super chargers in the local area). "
