"We really wanted to get away for a few nights and relax, this spot was perfect. The area is beautiful, the house is great, the bed was comfortable, and it was nice and quiet. Towns are close enough to get some food or supplies and get back to doing nothing, Mineola, Hawkins, and Lindale are great little towns. Nelda was very helpful and nice. We enjoyed our stay."

"The beautiful property is nestled in a group of pine trees away from the town. The house is roomy with large open rooms. The host is lovely and was very accommodating with our special request. The host lives next door and was always available. I understand we were the first group to stay at the house so there are a few things that could be improved mostly in the kitchen area. "We enjoyed a few of the amenities and the peacefulness of being in the woods! Thankfully the others renting this weekend where quiet because the rentals were so close to each other. We were only able to enjoy the trails the first day before it rained and got muddy. It would be nice if the trails had some gravel on them so you could enjoy them in any weather. It was great to be able to have our dogs with us! Since it was nice if because as close together "

"We had a group of 16 co workers and we all had a comfortable space without feeling like we were on top of each other. Lisa was easy to contact and quick to reply. There were even 2-3 "extra" fun things that helped make staying at the house a fun experience. We didn't have any kids, but it would be so fun for families!!"

"We loved it here, perfect spot for a quiet weekend getaway, which is just what we wanted! We will definitely be back. Special touches all throughout- my boys loved the trail and the scavenger hunt. Thanks for a great stay! "

New hotel in Lindale

"The hotel was clean and new. The bed was comfy and the air conditioning quiet. Breakfast was what we expected from a chain hotel...ok, but not great. The location was excellent, within walking distance of quality restaurants. We would definitely stay there again."
